Estetyka i Krytyka - The Polish Journal of Aesthetics is a philosophical-aesthetic quarterly published periodical issued by Institute to Philosophy of Jagiellonian University. It is open to different philosophical and artistic orientations referring to interdisciplinary character of Estetyka published in early 1960s and to Studia Estetyczne.

It is addressed to a wide circle of philosophers, aestheticians, theoreticians and historians of art and artistic environment. Scientific interests include general and detailed philosophical-aesthetic issues of different fields of art, problems of theory and art history, artistic issues.

Journal is listed on List B of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s parametric system with 12 points, and is recognised as an associated journal by the International Society for Aesthetics (IAA)

Each issue of Estetyka i Krytyka contains articles section, translations section and reviews and reports section called "Dialogues and Diagnoses".

Estetyka i Krytyka - The Polish Journal of Aesthetics is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
